Eliza started singing at the age of 7 with the appraised children's choir, Cantores Sancti Juliani, under the tutorship and direction of Lino Attard. This gave her the opportunity to travel to Italy and compete with international talent with success. Two other passions of hers are acting and dancing. Eliza Borg Rizzo Eliza writes her original music earning her the Best Original Songwriter Award at the University of Malta's first "Songwriter's Showcase". Her music was also recognised by Steve Brown, producer of Elton John's first three albums who worked, among others with Eric Clapton and Tina Turner. Eliza also performed in the musical project Ellie and the Oscars. Moreover, Eliza also plays the guitar and the piano, the latter in which she placed first in Malta twice. At present, she is the lead vocalist in the band Tribali with whom she performed in numerous national and international festivals, including Earth Garden; the Ancient Trance Music Festival in Germany, and the Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia (renowned as the most prestigious blues festival in the world) with performing artists of the likes of Santana, Robert Plant, Buddy Guy, and Yes to KT Tunstall and Ziggy Marley.
